Event Information

We can't wait to jingle with you in just a little over a week at Jingle Bell Run in Newport News!  Be sure to break out your favorite holiday attire for a chance to win a special treat (furry friends included)! Below are important event day details.    

 LOCATION/PARKING 

• Saturday, December 9^th at the park entrance at Boundary Road, across from Warwick High School (51 Copleand Lane, Newport News, VA 23601).  WE JINGLE RAIN OR SHINE!
• Main Parking is in the Warwick High School parking lot (51 Copeland Lane, Newport News, VA). The race will start and end across the street from Warwick High School in the grassy park area (corner of Copleand Lane & Warwick Blvd).

EVENT SCHEDULE  

• 8:30AM – Check-in/Onsite Registration Opens *you will receive a confirmation email from Enmotive, that includes a QR code to scan for easy check in on race day or at early packet pickup on Thursday, December 7th- see below for early packet pickup details. 
  
• 8:30AM - Festivities begin! Enjoy fun music from Music Makes You Happy, Kids' Activities & Face Painting, Visit from Santa , Photo Booth, Coffee & Hot Chocolate to from Mangata Coffee & Tea, Smoothies & Sandwiches from DC Fresh Eats & Smoothies, & more! Visit the tents and thank our generous sponsors!  
  
  
• 9:00AM – Kids' Reindeer Dash 1 mile (all participants receive a long sleeve t-shirt, medal, and bells for their shoes) 
  
  
• 9:45AM - Opening Ceremony & Warm Up
  
  
• 10:00AM – Jingle Bell Run 5K Start (Includes long sleeve t-shirt, participant medal, and jingle bells for your shoes!) 

• 11:00AM – Awards Ceremony & Celebration  

• All participants will receive a Finisher Medal as they cross the finish line
• Top overall male/female & 1st, 2nd, 3rd place male/female in each age group for 5K timed participants 
• Recognition of Top Fundraising Teams and Individuals

Early Packet Pickup

• Thursday, December 7th :  4pm - 7pm at Point 2 Running Company - 12080 Jefferson Ave. #910, Newport News Va 23606 . *You will receive an email from our race timing company, Enmotive, with a QR code to scan for quick and easy packet pickup. We can also look you up by name. 
  
  
• Swing by to check-in and receive your official race bib, event long sleeve t-shirt and jingle bells and avoid the line on race day 
  
  
• Any individual who raises $250 or more online will also receive a fun festive pair of Jingle Bell Run socks! 

Event Day Information

• If you have guests that would like to register on the day of the event, we will accept registrations.  We will not be accepting cash at the event and all transactions will need to be completed online or through check.  All you need is your phone to scan a QR code and you can register or donate on site.
  
  
• Festivities kickoff at 8:30am!  Enjoy fun music from Music Makes You Happy, Kids' Activities & Face Painting, Visit from Santa , Photo Booth, Coffee & Hot Chocolate to warm you up from Mangata Coffee & Tea, Smoothies & Sandwiches from DC Fresh Eats & Smoothies, the Kids' Reindeer Dash and the Jingle Bell Run 5K that everyone is invited to run or walk.  Don't forget to put your bells on your shoes for a festive and jingling good time!  Visit the tents and thank our generous sponsors! 
  
  
• Strollers and dogs are welcome!  All dogs must be on a leash please.
  
  
• We will close with an awards ceremony announcing the top finishers in all age categories
