2018 Tiger-Tri & Tiger-Du

Volunteer for the 2018 Tiger-Tri & Tiger-Du

Join us for our 28th year! Enjoy an early morning 1K swim in Lake Gillette, a scenic 40K bike ride along Washington State Highway-20 throught the Colville National Forest into Colville, WA, and finish with a 10K run.

Not ready for a full Olympic Triathlon, try the duathlon or race as a team.  The duathlon will omit the swim and have only two legs, the 40K bike and 10K run.  Teams can be made up of 2 or 3 members to break up the legs, teams can be all female, all male or mixed.

Triathlon Awards will be given to top 3 Individual Male, top 3 Individual Female and top Team.  Duathlon awards will be top Male and top Female.  All registratants will recieve an event t-shirt at the finish line.
We need amazing volunteers willing to staff our water stations along the run course and help participants if needed. Stations will each have water and/or sports drink and a first aid kit along with information on heat stroke symptoms.
We always need help at the end of the course s it is busy! We need back up timing, we need food help, chip collection, and of course clean up and tear down at the end of the day.
We need volunteers to help the athletes get their gear set pre-race, make sure the timing pads are not crossed once the timing systems is set to start, help with the start of the duathlon, and tear the transition down and loaded in the trailers.
This transition is busy! We run this in a unique fashion and need volunteers that can be quick paced with finding run gear bags and racking bikes and bike gear, often having 4-5 bikes coming in at one time. Super great place to see the athletes before their final leg.
