2018 Warfighter Health & Wellness 5K Run/Walk on Friday, May 4th at 6:30 a.m., with start and finish in the Mission Training Complex-Leavenworth (MTC-LVN) north parking lot. More than your standard run, this 5K Run/Walk is fun for the whole family! This is an exciting and unique course with music and post-race awards. Come out and celebrate health and fitness at the Warfighter Health & Wellness 5K! The 5k Run/Walk is only open to Department of Defense (DOD) ID Card holders. The 5K course map is shown in the photos section. Online race registration is free and runs through Wednesday, May 2nd. T-shirts are $15 and may be purchased during online registration (click on the "Stuff to Buy" box to the right to purchase). T-shirt proceeds will support the MTC-LVN Family Readiness Group (FRG). Register online by May 2nd to guarantee a t-shirt. Packet pick-up and late registration will be at MTC-LVN on Thursday, May 3rd from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Same day race registration is also available from 5:30 a.m. to 6:15 a.m. Remaining t-shirts not purchased online will be available for sale (cash only) during packet pick-up and the morning of the race on a first come, first served basis. MTC-LVN is located at 8 Sherman Ave, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas 66027, directly northeast of the intersection of Metropolitan Ave and Sherman Ave, and adjacent to the Fort Leavenworth Visitor's Center. Race participants will enter MTC-LVN through the south entrance gate on Sherman Ave, no later than 6:15 a.m. Parking is available in the north and south parking lots. The 5K starts at 6:30 a.m. in the north parking lot.
