The Salvation Army Red Kettle Dash is a way for you to join the Red Kettle Challenge and help your neighbors while doing something you love! You can run your race whenever and wherever it is convenient for you between Dec. 12th and Dec. 24th. We are working now on a commemorative medal so you can show the world your commitment to Doing the Most Good and helping Rescue Christmas for your neighbors through The Salvation Army. Amid the uncertainty surrounding us during this crazy year that is 2020, one thing is certain – The Salvation Army will continue to be here to provide our neighbors with the support they need most. This year, we need you to join us in rescuing Christmas so that we can provide hope to families across our community and help stop the events that could lead to life changes that are not for the better.

The money generated through this race will go to providing basic needs to our most vulnerable neighbors. It will allow us to provide hot meals to those living in encampments as we work with them on rapid rehousing solutions. It will allow us to help a family pay their rent to keep them safely housed. It will allow us to welcome a family into our supportive housing program as we work with them to stabilize and then move into their own homes.

This has been a challenging year for everyone, and while we don’t know what the Christmas season will bring, we do know your commitment to supporting The Salvation Army may not only keep the effects of Covid-19 from being life-changing, but it may just be lifesaving for our neighbors this year.
