Register for 7th Annual Power of Pink

The Haywood Regional Medical Center Foundation, in partnership with the Haywood County Health Department and Medwest Haywood, are raising funds for breast cancer detection and providing mammograms for underserved women in Haywood County. Help us eradicate breast cancer by celebrating and remembering those individuals who have battled this disease by supporting and participating in this event held during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Since 2007, over $30,000 has been raised to assist underserved women in Haywood County receive life-saving cancer screenings. The Power of Pink is two events in one. Our signature race has been redesigned into a friendlier 5K that includes both individual and team categories. After the 5K there will be a 1-mile Honor/Memory/Survivor Walk. Walkers can register for $10 and all 5K participants are welcome to join in the Memory Walk after the 5K race at no cost. New for 2013! All participants are welcome to run/walk with your four-legged family members in the 5K and Memory Walk. It costs $10 to register your dog in addition to the race registration fee, and all registered dogs will receive commemorative Power of Pink bandana. Packet pick-up and registration for all participants with dogs will be outside the Fitness Center. All dogs must be on a leash, have up to date shots and tags. The race officials will not allow your dog to participate if these guidelines are not met.
