THIS PAGE IS FOR ESCORT KAYAK REGISTRATION ONLY--The 5k open water swim across Tampa Bay is a fundraisier for the Navy SEAL Foundation. Each swimmer is required to have an individual kayak escort for both safety and navigatioin concerns. Most kayakers will be assigned a specific swimmer and are responsible for staying with the swimmer the entire distance. There will be other kayakers assigned to each wave as "rovers" to assist other kayakers and swimmers. If a swimmer needs assistance, the kayaker waves a support boat over to help. *YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN KAYAK*
