RAMROD is limited by the National Park to a total of 800 cyclists.  Since 2018 the registration for RAMROD is a two-step process. You are registering for the lottery.  The lottery registration is open from March 1st through March 25th.  After the lottery registration is closed the registrar will conduct the lottery.  This will take a few days.  Lottery winners will be announced on the Redmond Cycle Club - RAMROD website.  If you are selected in the lottery you will receive an email with a non-transferrable coupon code and have 7 days to register for the event. If you are not selected in the lottery you will be on the waitlist based on the lottery order selected.  As registration slots open up, due to cancellations or unclaimed lottery selections, the lottery registrants on the waitlist will be given the opportunity to register ("promoted") based on the waitlist sequence.

Key Points regarding group (team) registration (more FAQs on group registration can be found here RAMROD FAQs)

• Team registration means "all, or none, in the team will selected in the lottery".  If a team is not selected in the lottery all members will be assigned the same position on the waitlist and will be invited to register at the same time if promoted from the waitlist.
• If you are registering as a team captain you can restrict registrations on your team with a password (this is new on the EnMotive platform).  The team captain should register first to define the password.  Teams should be at least 2 participants and are limited to a maximum of 5.
• Preference points applied to a team (thus all members of the specific team) will be set to the lowest individual preference point total earned from previous RAMROD lotteries across all members on that team.
