MPI is proud to announce it's 2011 Inaugural PORTOFINO SUNSET TRI SERIES! This series of triathlon races will take place on four (4) Thursday Nights at 6:30pm throughout the summer at beautiful Portofino Island Resort on Pensacola Beach, FL. These races are "Super Sprint" triathlons, meaning they are shorter than a typical triathlon "Sprint" race. They are also official USAT Sanctioned Events. The Portofino Sunset Tri Series is designed for all triathlon abilities - especially brand new athletes! There will be one overall time (no splits) and no official awards. The max participants will be 40 athletes per event. There will be no "age" groups, and the swim start will be one wave.
