The McDowell Trail Association is pleased to host its 2nd Annual MTA Triathlon at Lake James on May 21, 2011 at the new Paddy's Creek Section of Lake James State Park. 108 individuals and 14 teams took part in last year's inaugural event, which took place under hot & humid July conditions. The move to May brings with it the promise of cooler weather, a larger field, and even faster times. The venue is breathtaking, with views of Lake James visible from almost everywhere on the course.
