All Participants Must have a Signed Waiver on File - No Exceptions All Participants in the Water MUST wear a Wet Suit - No Exceptions All Participants Must wear the Lake Medina OWS Group Cap that will be provided for $13.00. RSVP is a must for swimming to ensure that we have multiple swim partners! We are looking for participants to assist as Swim Leaders for 2020. We are a big group and need people to step up and be onsite for swims. This is NOT a competitive swim! It is to train, learn to be comfortable in open water! You will be assigned a membership number once we have confirmed you registration. This number will not change. Please record it for future use! The trails around the lake provide a super run or bike after the swim. We will take donations to support the swim group at any time. For the 2015 Swim Season we collected $1080.00 and made a donation to the Medina Co. Parks for $1,000 to purchase two benches that were installed at Lake Medina. For the 2016 swim season we collected $660 dollars and purchased one new bench at Killbuck Lake. For the 2017 season we collected $360 which has been donated to the park. For 2018 we collected just over $1100 from our group. For the 2019 season were made a donation of $1000. We provided a $500 donation directly to the park rangers and $500 to the Friends of Medina Co Parks Out total collected is approx $4200.
