2011 Marks the 3nd year for the Junior Top Gun Triathlon. This event is being held in conjunction with the long standing Top Gun Triathlon. Ft De Soto is rated one of the best beaches in the United States. Bring your child, enjoy the day, and learn about the great sport of Triathlon. This is a REAL Triathlon with an open water swim. Your child will race like adults do. We will provide them with closed swim/bike/run course. Come out and be a part of the start of your childs Triathlon career. All athletes MUST be at the race location by 6:30am on race morning for a USAT clinic and be prepared to watch the F1 Juniors race closed course. This is the 2nd year we are planning a F1 Triathlon for invited athletes only. Ages are 13-19 closed course race. All athletes must be approved by Jennifer Hutchison. esportsrd@aol.com. Regional Athlete Development coordinator. This event is build around the children and our primary goal is to make the Jr. Top Gun Triathlon a safe and fun experience for both you and your child. The event includes a closed course from the swim to the bike to the run, and each child will participate in a half-hour clinic hosted by USAT Certified coaches. The entry fee also includes a Zorrel Tech performance shirt, other goodies, and entry to the post-event party. Sign up today.
