The Grand Haven Triathlon was started 18 years ago in memory of fellow triathlete, Tony Thompson. Tony was a great athlete AND individual and sadly passed away due to an undetected heart condition. The Grand Haven Triathlon is the most scenic triathlon in Michigan. Come to Grand Haven and enjoy one of the best communities and beaches in the US.

Olympic Triathlon: 1500 meter swim, 40-K bike, 10-K run
Sprint Triathlon: 500 meter swim, 20-K bike, 5-K run
Olympic Duathlon: 5-K run, 40-K bike, 10-K run
Sprint Duathlon: 5-K run, 20-K bike, 5-K run
Relay teams allowed for all the events.
