Earth Fare, the Healthy Supermarket, celebrates the birth of its new foundation with the Friends of Earth Fare 5K. The event will be held at the RiverLink Sculpture and Performance Plaza on Riverside Drive in the River Arts District of Asheville. The Friends of Earth Fare 5K will offer a prize purse of $3,000 in cash to not only the top 3 overall and masters but also the top 3 in each age group. Prior to the 5K start at 8 am, there will be a kids Fun Run at 7:30 am that will take kids from the Sculpture Park to Jean Webb Park and back.
