2010 marks the 29th annual Donner Lake Triathlon. Donner Lake is in northeast California on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada and about 11 miles northwest of Lake Tahoe. The Donner Lake Triathlon offers both a Sprint and International Distance course providing opportunity for all to participate. Swim in the beautiful clear water, bike out and up historic route U.S. 40 featuring spectacular views of the entire lake, and then run around one of the most scenic alpine lakes anywhere.
