You can still register in person on Saturday, June 8 from 10-2 and on Sunday morning starting at 6am at the race venue. The 2nd Annual Dave's Race is hosted by the Steel Valley Triathlon Club in memory of Dave Drabison, a member of SVTC who was an amazing athlete, best known for helping everyone who "TRIed", and he always did it with a smile. Dave's Race takes place at West Branch State Park, a beautiful venue, which includes a campground. You must be 16 years of age or older on day of race to participate. CHANGES FOR 2019: Swim Course has been updated/posted. Duathlon Distance Change: now 1 mile run, 13 mile bike & 5K (3.1 mile) run This is not a USAT sanctioned event; however, we will be observing USAT Rules & Regulations. Headphones are prohibited at all times for the safety of our athletes and participants. There is a complimentary post-race picnic for all participants, spectators and volunteers following the race. Post race picnic is sponsored by Barry Dyngles Award Winning BBQ, and includes grilled chicken breasts, pulled pork, cheesy potatoes and greens pasta. Cornbread and coleslaw will also be available, as well as a giant dessert table and beverages.
