Register for Black Hawk Ridge Trail Run

Registration is closed--we've reached our limit! We invite you once again to join us in a celebration of another year of good running, good friends and good food. This will be our eighth annual event at the historic, scenic and challenging Black Hawk Unit of the Lower Wisconsin State Riverway near Sauk City, WI. The shorter run is mostly on wider, mowed paths, the longer run adds some steeper, rockier and more narrow trails. This event usually fills up, so sign up early. Natural Heritage Land Trust is once again the co-host and beneficiary of this event. NHLT is Dane County's land trust, one of the oldest in the state and has quietly protected over 8000 acres in the county, including a nearly 900 acre property along the Wisconsin River only a couple of miles from Black Hawk. As veterans of this event know, there is a generous buffet of soup, assorted breads from Silly Yak, WI cheese, homemade cookies, etc. waiting in a warm cabin at the end of the run. This year we are returning to our old tradition of a surprise non-clothing giveaway item instead of a t-shirt.
