With the recent relaxation COVID19 restrictions of outdoor non-contact sports, the GCF board has decided to go forward with the 2021 Guam XC Mountain Bike Championship. Due to certain logistics and parking limitations at the event site we will hold a virtual qualifying event which will determine the top 10 "eligible" men and women who will compete in the MTB Championship.

The date of the Championship will be Sunday, March 28 and the virtual qualifiers will be Saturday, March 13 through Sunday, March 21. The Strava segment that will be used to monitor the fastest times during the 8-day qualifying window will be strictly adhered to. No deviations from the actual route will be accepted, even if Strava recognizes the segment.

The Virtual MTB Champs Qualifier will be open to anyone to participate, but only participants that meet the conditions below will be eligible to compete in the actual in-person MTB Championship race on March 28.

1. Participant must be an active GCF member
2. Must be a Guam resident as defined by the GNOC (Guam Nat'l Olympic Committee)
3. Participant must officially notify the GCF via email (info@guamcycling.com) of their intent to compete for the National Championship by March 12, 2021.

GCF Members will be able to participate for FREE by entering VIRTUALCHAMPSQUALIFIER when prompted to enter an "Invitation Code". Non-members will pay a nominal $7 fee to participate.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be no E-Bike category for this event or for the Championship.
