8+-Mile trail run in the Cockaponsett State Forest, Chester, CT. Rocks, roots, mud and an optional manual water crossing (swim). The race starts and finishes at the Pattaconk Reservoir. The 4-mile trail (also 9:00 AM) run is the 1st half of the 8-mile run and does not include the water crossing. The race is USATF Sanctioned. In response to COVID, there will be no tee shirts this year. Additionally, runners will be placed in waves, by the race director, for starting the race. Runners must start in their assigned wave.
