This is a one or two loop course around the scenic LSU lakes in Baton Rouge, LA. Race day atmosphere is always fun and supportive. These are great distances and it is at the perfect time to incorporate Goldenfliers into your winter half or full marathon training plan. The 10 miler starts at 8:00am and the 5 miler starts at 8:05 am. <br><br>Also, we will have the 2nd annual Kids and Family "Stache and Dash" 1 mile fun run. These two fun events will start after the 5 & 10 mile races are finishing up at about 10:30am and all are encouraged to participate. Kids can register for the 1 mile Stache and Dash as well as parents wanting to run with them. Any parent already running either the 5 or 10 miler can run the fun runs at no additional registration fee. The Running of the MOs will be for our mustachioed men only and will also be a one miler with special prizes and awards for those men participating. These two events are being held in an effort to bring awareness to our charity partner MOVEMBER who provides funding for male specific cancer research.
