Woman Only Triathlon and Duathlon geared for fun! We believe there is an athlete in every woman, no matter how old or young, fit or not. Find your inner athlete and join us for a great spirited event where ladies rule. We lost our home at LSU but thanks to our friends at Soleman Triathlon, we found a beautiful new venue in Sunshine, Louisiana! Triathlon Race Course includes a 300 m open water swim in a beginner friendly private lake, followed by a 12 mile bike around the training route on River Road, and finishing with a 2 mile run on private property. The Duathlon starts with the 2 mile run, then the same 12 mile bike as the Triathlon, with a final 2 mile run. Individual entries as well as 2 or 3 person Relay Teams. USAT SANCTIONED RACE NO REFUNDS, DEFERRALS and/or TRANSFERS for any reason, sorry. RKF reserves the right to cancel or modify the event based on inclement weather or other events that impact event safety (when the levee springs a leak). This is done at the discretion of the Race Director. Note: We simply cannot issue refunds due to cancellation because by race day, all funds have been used to prepare for the race. We are obligated to pay for those resources if the event is held or not. But there is good news of sorts.... ALL PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT BENEFIT THE ROCKETKIDZ FOUNDATION, A NONPROFIT DEDICATED TO CREATING AND SUSTAINING ACTIVE, FIT AND HEALTHY KIDS, FAMILIES, AND COMMUNITIES.
