Register for A Community Conversation on the Cost of Funding a Thriving School
Join the Nashville Public Education Foundation and The Tennessean for a Town Hall community conversation to share your ideas about what our schools should be like and how we can ensure they are funded appropriately.
This Town Hall will convene community members with the goal of creating a community-developed description of a thriving school, setting community priorities for what students need in order to thrive, and engaging in conversation around the misalignment between current levels of funding and the true cost of a thriving school. The interactive session will include full-group Q&A, information about our schools and school funding, and small-group discussion to gather as much feedback as possible.
When: Saturday, January 29
9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Where: Martin Professional Development Center
2400 Fairfax Ave
Nashville, TN 37212
Light breakfast will be served.
