This 1 Mile, 5K and 10K Fun Run will be fun for the whole family.The theme is "Run Forest, Run!" Grab your beard in Forest Gump style, and dress up as your favorite character!

5K: The 5K run will be fun for the whole family!  Dress up like Forrest Gump and jsut come out and have a great time.  Some participants will want to run like wind because you never know what a good pair of shoes can do for you - at least that's what "my mamma says!!" Come out and get your Gump on...dress up like Forrest or any charactor you want loosely associated with Mr. Gump and "Just Run till yah feel like stopping....YEAH!"  

10K: If you feel like you want to keep on running...then  run the "Run Forrest Run" 10K.  "It's about twice as long as the 5K."  See if you can keep your beard on the whole run!

Awards:
1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers, male and female, for each race
(5K & 10K) will be awarded - Both Youth and Adult.

Race Details:
All races start at Fort Steilacoom Park, Lakewood. Aid stations will be approximately every 2 miles.  Your time will be precisely and accurately recorded and published. All Finishers will receive a Medal! Sign up early to guarantee Swag! Day of race registers are not guaranteed swag. This will be a CUP-LESS race. Please bring a water bottle or other container that you will be able to fill at each aid station. We are trying to minimize garbage. For those that forget, small paper cups will be available.
