The 21st Annual Cinco de Mayo 5K Family Run will take place on a scenic route along Harriet Island. The run is part of the larger Cinco De Mayo Celebration in St. Paul's West Side on Saturday, May 6th, 2023.
This event is organized by the The National Latino Peace Officers Association, Minnesota State Chapter (NLPOA-MN) who is a regional affiliate and subordinate to the National Peace Officers Association (NLPOA). The NLPOA-MN is a U.S. Non-Profit Organization based in St. Paul, Minnesota and it's coded as a 501(c)(3) Charity, entirely funded by volunteer labored fundraisers, donations and contributions which are 100% tax deductible. The NLPOA-MN does not participate in political campaigns, nor does it influence legislation at any level.
Revenue generated by the NLPOA-MN is used to host community events for BIPOC and vulnerable populations and to sponsor academic scholarships benefitting college students of disadvantage and furthering the mission of community-based law enforcement.
