The ZOMBIE RUN is part of the Rock4Kids Running Series. Being physically active is one of the most important steps to improve overall health and wellbeing for adults and children. Kids need physical activity to grow up strong and healthy! Staying physically active is an important step in promoting positive physical and mental/emotional health.
The Bass Pro Shops Fitness Series and the Missouri Beef Industry Council have partnered together to bring the Rock4Kids Series to the Springfield area. We believe it is important to encourage children to participate in physical activities that are appropriate for their age, engaging and fun!
There are four run/walk distances available from which to choose: .25 mile, .50 mile, 1 mile, and 2 miles. Children should be entered into the distance that fits for their age, experience, and ability level. Parents who wish to be on the course with their child will need to register to complete the race.
Entry into the Zombie Run also provides entry into the Rutledge Wilson Farm Park Fall Festival. Many park activities are included in the entry fee into the Zombie Run. Full details will be provided as we get closer to the event.
